I nearly squealed when I saw the title of this episode! Pathogens and evolutionary psychology! I am excited because I thought of this very question several years ago while learning about the evolution of viruses—it was actually pre-pandemic, but only by a year, which still makes me laugh for the coincidence!—wondering how microbes affected the evolution of both the psychological and sociological aspects of humans. I am so ecstatic that someone actually IS researching this!
